Our Curriculum
Our Prep School emphasises strong and effective teaching across core subjects: English, Mathematics, Health and Wellbeing, Science, Social Studies, and Technologies.
By combining traditional methods with digital and interactive strategies, we ensure a well-rounded approach.
High-quality teaching is supported through detailed planning, creative and engaging instruction, and continuous, reflective assessment.
Starting from Prep 1, all children benefit from specialist teaching, resources, and facilities in Art, Music, and PE; for instance, all pupils enjoy weekly swimming instruction in our 25m pool.
They also have access to Senior School science laboratories and engineering workshops, and in Prep 4 and Prep 5, they experience introductory lessons in French, German, and Spanish, preparing them for more formal language instruction in Junior 1.
We take great pride in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) throughout the Prep and Junior Schools.
We aim to spark curiosity and creativity through engaging projects, simple experiments, and collaborative challenges, our pupils begin to develop problem-solving skills and a love for discovery.
We encourage our pupils to explore new ideas and think innovatively, all within a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of the learning journey.
Our approach includes STEM-focused topics, challenges, trips, guest speakers, and opportunities for child-led learning, such as the Prep 5 Engineering competition. Learning outside the classroom is equally valued.
We make use of our grounds for outdoor learning and encourage a growth mindset by fostering curiosity and a spirit of inquiry in our pupils.
