Well done to all our teams who made the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative final showcase such a memorable evening. The audience was treated to everything from toast art and beautifully crafted animations to supermarket sweep. What came through loud and clear was the passion and commitment shown by all teams in the quest to win vital funds for their chosen charity.
Special congratulations to our winners – Jack, James and Kyle (Form I) who were representing Maggie’s. Thanks also to the Wood Foundation for awarding the special prize of £3000 which will now go to Maggie’s Forth Valley.
The Deputy Rector, Mr Pyper, also announced that an anonymous benefactor has been in touch with the school. Because of their generous donation, all of the runners up (7 teams) will also receive £1000 for their charity. Money is being donated to: SFAD Forth Valley (Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs), Broke Not Broken (Kinross), Perth & Kinross Foodbank, The Cyrenians (Falkirk), Shiresmill Therapy Riding Centre (Dunfermline), Reachout with Arts in Mind (Alloa) and Back Onside (Stirling).
