Futures Institute Building

The Futures Institute building received planning permission from Clackmannanshire Council in July 2023. We are working to a total project cost of £12.6m and with over 80% of the required funding in place, the FIDA fundraising campaign has been Dollar Academy’s most successful to date.

We’d like to reiterate our sincere thanks to everyone who has donated so far, be that through philanthropic support, corporate sponsorship, and the fantastic engagement of our wider school community.

But we must not rest on our laurels! Our Dome-ometer shows the gap we need to close – the dark triangles illustrate the money we’ve raised so far, and the FIDA colour triangles illustrate what we still need to raise.

Any donation, whatever the level, will make a huge difference. You can make a one-off donation or decide to support us through a series of regular smaller donations over a period of time. All our supporters receive monthly updates about the building’s progress, the wider FIDA initiative, and how your support is making a difference. In addition, you will be invited to the building’s opening ceremony.

For donations of £250 and over we are offering you the opportunity to have your name on our Donor Recognition Wall located within the Futures Institute building. This will be a permanent installation designed by the young people involved in our FIDA challenges. Being on our donor wall means your name will forever be part of the school. You could make this donation either as a one-off donation, or 12 monthly donations of £21.
