Michael (Form V) appointed as Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Clackmannanshire

Huge congratulations to Michael (Form V) who has been appointed by Lt Col Johnny Stewart, Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire, as one of his Cadets. The role will involve representing the CCF in support of the Lord Lieutenant or his deputies, and attending a number of ceremonial events, including any Royal visits.

Michael is a member of the Royal Navy Section and has recently been promoted to the rank of Leading Hand. He will hold the position of Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for a year and this is considered by all as one of the top accolades a cadet can hope to achieve during their cadet career.

Maj. MP Scott (CCF CXO) said: “Michael is a excellent ambassador for the School and Combined Cadet Force. I have no doubt he will be a great support for the Lord Lieutenant as he carries out his duties in the County. He is one of the best cadets within our Contingent and I can think of no one better to receive this prestigious award of Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Clackmannanshire. I’m really looking forward to seeing him serve in this capacity and will uphold the standards of Dollar Academy CCF with his upcoming public duties over the next year.”
